After 8 years in the automotive industry as a Service Advisor, I realized it was time to change gears.

After months researching many different career paths and the best way to go about making this career change, I decided on the UX/UI Bootcamp that is offered through UCI. I was hooked after the first month. I learned that my years as a service advisor would help me build empathy with the user and that empathy would help fuel my design decisions to be centered around the users. When it’s time to wind down after a day of designing you can catch me watching hockey or baseball and figuring out which record to spin next.
